Wine Tasting Tent

The Naples Grape Festival proudly features the wines of the Finger Lakes Region. 

WINE TASTING TENT GUESTS AND PATRONS:

The wine tasting tent will be located behind Memorial Town Hall at the festival.  Admission for the wine tasting tent is $5 per person this year and we will check your ID at the door so please be prepared.  You may sample wines at any of our vendors and we encourage you to be responsible in your consumption.  Anyone who over indulges will be escorted from the premises and we have a large police presence in the village the weekend of the festival so it is not a good decision to drink too much!  Sealed bottles of wine will be for sale at each winery table and wine can be stored on site and picked up when you are ready to leave the festival for the day so please feel free to purchase your favorites in any quantity. Many of these wines are difficult to find outside the actual winery so be sure to stock up at the festival.  No alcoholic beverages may be consumed on the grounds of Memorial Town Hall or the Naples High School outside the wine tasting tent.

WINE VENDORS:

Wineries and winemakers are welcome to join our select group of participating wineries by contacting JoAnne Alliet-Assistant Director at 585-374-6563.  Fees for a 10 x 10 booth including 2 bags of ice and one 8 foot table are $250 for the weekend.  2007 was a good inaugural year for the festival and the participating wineries.  Many had sales in the thousands of dollars for the weekend.  Others in the hundreds. We found the most successful wine vendors put on a show, make their product unique and have it staffed with people who can sell, not just serve.  Marketing is your key to success here and in your daily business.  We have raised the entry fee to eliminate "party drinkers"  and reduce the "pour ratio" and we encourage you to control your own pours to maximize profits.  We will have guidelines and staff in place to be sure guests are not over served.  A request for space needs to be made ASAP and fees must be paid by July 1, 2008.  Upon acceptance to the festival we will send you a complete package of information regarding set up, storage, sales, staffing, parking and rules and regulations put upon both of us to follow by the Town of Naples.  email us at naplesgrapefest@yahoo.com if you prefer.
